Job Description:

 

The role of Senior Director is to manage development and scale-up activities for manufacturing of biologic products drug substance. You will provide leadership and technical direction to cross-functional teams to assess and maintain process and product comparability across sites and scales and in data intensive process investigations. Responsibilities include the coordination and process transfer of late stage clinical and commercial stage cell culture production and downstream purification processes and the evaluation of new technologies associated with bioreactor operations.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate will have an MS with 10+ / PhD with 5+ years relevant industry experience in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or Biology. A strong focus on quality and detail and excellent project management skills are desired. In depth understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards along with an in depth knowledge of biologics proteins manufacturing and corresponding cGMP industry practices is required.
