About the company :
Our client is a well established, privately owned, wholesaler/distributor of accessories and personal care products seeking a Controller. Job description :
Controller tasks include and are not limited to: Financial statement preparation, month-end closing and financial reporting General ledger accounting, account analysis and reconciliations Annual budgets prep and consolidation and report on variances Report divisional results to various department heads Coordinate/resolve financial matters with all departments Analyze and adopt new technologies to improve and streamline closing and financial reporting processes Work closely with external accounting firm Responsible for payroll functions, benefits, 401k and coordinate insurance coverage for 100+ employeesThe Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Who we are looking for :
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting 7-10 years of related experience Strong Excel skills and experience with JD Edwards is a plus Industry background in Imports, Distribution/Wholesale, Accessories or Apparel Whats on offer :
Based on experience this role will offer the successful candidate up to $120KThis is a temporary to permanent position
