Description

Experienced Director of Security sought by privately held Corporation employing over 500 people, headquartered in New York, NY, with offices around the world. The Director of Corporate Security reports to the firm principals and oversees national and international staff.

 

The ideal candidate has a combination of experience gleaned from Law Enforcement and Corporate Security at a senior management level. A proven leader, this individual has developed and supervised professional security staff in previous positions. Areas of responsibility include physical risk management, security policies and standards, facilities and assets and their support, personnel, privacy and special events, threats and vulnerabilities, safeguards, staff management, competitive espionage, and emergency response. 

 

This is position of extreme sensitivity. Candidates will have a demonstrated track record in matters of trustworthiness and discretion and be able to undergo an in-depth background investigation.

 

College degree required, advance degree MBA preferred. CPP (Certified Protection Professional) designation preferred. Excellent communication skills are key to success in this role. Long-term intent is needed. Salary commensurate with experience. Senior level benefits package.
