About the company :
Our client is an International Retail/Wholesale Private Label Company who is sourcing candidates for a Director of Supply Chain/Replenishment. Job description :
The Director of Supply Chain/Replenishment will take a leadership role and work very closely with internal stakeholders. Day to day responsibilities include the following: Monitor demand plan performance, providing detailed input to sales and marketing management for use in the demand review and executive sales and operations planning meetings. Measure and report actual vs. planned supply planning performance, including managing any change and balance supply and demand to achieve the optimal balance of customer responsiveness, deliveries, and production stability. Oversee the companys Replenished inventory and service levels to improve the flow of merchandise into and out of the DCs and stores. Assist in the resolution of issues involving order commitment dates, deviations to planned finished goods inventory levels, establishment and utilization of safety stock, and customer delivery difficulties. Act as the primary point of contact within Replenishment in support of the inventory and purchasing planning process. Communicate with other departments as needed. Participate in the development and evaluation of what-if simulations to resolve demand/supply imbalances. Who we are looking for :
Candidates that will be considered for the Director of Supply Chain/Replenishment should meet the following: 10+ years direct experience managing the global supply chain and forecasting activities preferably for a Textiles, Home Furnishings or a Consumer Products company with experience working with major retailers Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, must have a high level of personal credibility as a spokesperson for forecasting. Strong business knowledge/experience, especially with supply chain functions, critical knowledge of sales, retail, operations, finance and merchandising. Must have excellent problem-solving skills across entire supply chain and customer service Ability to make decisions regarding forecasting which directly impacts inventory strategies, on-time delivery, and order fill rates. Must demonstrate a complete understanding of quantitative/qualitative analysis. Ability to integrate the link between business processes and forecast, impact of forecast accuracy on business processes, systems, and supply chain. Whats on offer :
$110,000 - $140,000 plus target bonus and excellent benefits.
