This posting is for the Americas regional head of the Web services team. The team consists of roughly 25 staff and is responsible for supporting the following technologies:

• Core web technologies (IIS, Iplanet, .NET, Weblogic)


• Content Management Systems (Teamsite, Opendeploy)


• Single Sign On and Authentication and PKI services (Siteminder)


• J2EE Application platform


• ASP .NET Application platform

The individual in this role will be responsible for the following:

Plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee the daily operation of the firm’s enterprise web services for the Americas region. Manage deployment and operation of all web

infrastructure located in the Americas region including prioritization and allocation of deployment resources and optimization of the local environment. Be responsible for

managing several leading edge technologies and an ever expanding infrastructure.

To Qualify, You Must Possess:

• Graduation from a recognized college or university, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field.


• Qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.


• Five years of experience in the design and operations of web services environments, including three years in a supervisory capacity.


• Experience working and managing teams

Technical Skills:

• Web operational experience including monitoring, capacity, performance and service level reporting


• Charecteristics, capabilities and users of the various web services available


• Windows 2000/2003 administration skills


• Web server (farm) administration skills: IIS5/6/7


• Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
