Well known Financial Services firm in NYC needs: 


 


Web Programmers:


 


MUST have EKTRON experience!


 




 


XHTML / CSS/  C#/ SQL/ XML 


 


 


 


Experience using Ektron CMS400. NET to create dynamic, content-rich websites is required.


 




 


C# experience is highly desirable as is experience with relational databases (SQL preferred) and XML, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET 3.5, LINQ.


 


 


 


The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a state of the art website and will contribute to general programming and development tasks.


 


Responsibilities:


 


 


 







  • Complete programming projects including web-based applications, website enhancements, desktop applications, database-backed websites and automation of web administration processes (utilizing Ektron.)







  • Work within a team environment to address the programming needs of internal and external customers.






 







  • Code web pages utilizing XHTML and CSS. Following industry standards.







  • Work in several programming languages including, XML, SQL, C#  as well as combinations of languages such as AJAX.







  • Work within development frameworks including ASP. NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET 3.5, and LINQ.






 







  • Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming-related systems including documenting, designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining programs.






 


 


 


Requirements:


 





  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.



  • 3+ years web development experience including: programming in XHTML and CSS.



  • Experience using Ektron CMS400.NET to create dynamic, content-rich websites is required.



  • C# experience is highly desirable as is experience with relational databases (SQL preferred) and XML, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET 3.5, LINQ.



  • Experience with Microsoft IIS web servers



  • Understanding of data transmission and quality assurance processes.



  • Understanding of SQL Server database frameworks including ODBC and ADO.



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.




 




SALARY to 100K
