My client is seeking a Financial Controller to join an established and successful business services company operating from the heart of Manhattan. Job description :
As the Financial Controller, you will partner with senior management and take full control of the financials and accounting operations of this business. The key focus of the role will be; Identify areas for improvement including internal controls, accounting processes and budgeting/forecasting Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements Analyze and reconcile revenue and expense accounts to annual budget Prepare weekly, monthly and adhoc financial, payroll and management information reports and analysis Responsible for the preparation of the annual budgets Prepare year-end closing and preparation for annual audit and certification of financials Who we are looking for :
My client is looking for a steady and experienced Financial Controller with a clear track record of stability and loyalty in their career to date. You must have an active CPA to be considered as a serious applicant for this opening. A strong pedigree in controllership, managing a small team and taking a hands on approach to your work will be key skills to demonstrate. Whats on offer :
A base salary in the range of $125,000 to $140,000 depending upon relevant experience. Plus benefits.
