They provide dedicated legal services in all phases of litigation, from pretrial investigation and discovery, through negotiation and resolution, to trials and appeals. Some of their attorneys have been former senior members of the United States Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service and prosecutors offices. Job description :
As the Head of Commercial Litigation your focus will be on managing the practice area, developing new clients, mentoring a team of 2 Associates and taking responsibility for state and federal based matters that go to trial.You will be a highly experienced Senior Commerical Litigator and possess a broad range of experience in all areas of complex business and commercial related disputes.As a seasoned trial Attorney, you will be comfortable in state and federal court and will have built up a history of success in managing small and large cases. Who we are looking for :
You will currently be a Commercial Litigation Partner in a law firm and possess significant trial experience with a history of success.You will have some portable business (ideally in the region of $500K). Whilst this is not a dominant feature of your skills or value, you will have transportable clients and excel in developing and retaining client relationships.You will be experienced in mentoring, managing and developing junior staff.You will have some knowledge/experience in building and practice and be enthused by the opportunity to strategically develop, maintain and grow this in another firm.You will be admitted to the NY Bar.
