Human Resources Director

Location: Westchester, NY
Base Comp: 90k-100k per year plus Bonus and FT Benefits.
Excellent benefits package.
Status: Full Time

Our client, a prestigious real estate company with a nationwide portfolio, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to oversee their HR departments both in NYC and Denver. The HR Director will report and work closely with the President / CEO of the company and provide strategic guidance in all aspects of Human Resources.

Job Responsibilities

Provide leadership and coordination of company policy. Develop and implement corporate Human Resource strategy and programs for their multi site offices.

Coordinate company equal opportunity programs to achieve diversity goals.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefit programs.

Direct the administration of benefit programs to include: health, retirement, death, disability, and unemployment.

Create company strategic training and organizational development plan to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs of company employees.

Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels.

Oversee the design and development of compensation strategy and programs.

Develop / coordinate mediate workplace disputes and grievances.

Coordinate the administration and negotiation of union employees.

Evaluate procedures and technology solutions to improve human resources data management.

Develop and manage annual budgets for the division and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.

Recommend and establish company policies and procedures.

Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Min of 8 years of HR experience.
Knowledge of benefits such as 401k plans, Health Insurance, and others.
Experience in working with unions.
Payroll knowledge.
Experience in delivering employee training programs.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must be proficient in Excel.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Real Estate experience a plus.
PHR, SPHR, GPHR a plus.
