Job requirements summary:

This Manager/Director must have some healthcare and ideally hospital based telecom operations experience (1 yr. plus in duration), but a minimum of 5-8 years total telecom management experience.

This should include running a large personnel operation (10 people plus, ideally a crew of 15 or more) for support of voice systems.

The incumbent would be responsible for a $4Million dollar contract with the hospital

 

Requirements:

-Very effective relationship building skills

-Knowledge of the medical/hospital organization field required

-Ability to strategize and provide well thought-out solutions or changes to existing processes to better streamline the organizations processes of handling the wired and some wireless applications in the organization.

 

Experience with Unified Communications highly preferred.

 

The candidate would need to live in or near the New York City area as their on-site responsibilities are full time, and a visible and highly valued part of this position

This manager will manage a team of 18 on-site IT employees for 4 sites.
