Our client is looking to hire a Director/AVP of ACCOUNTING to manage three of its professional accountants that are compiling the books and records of three funds. The position will report to the CFO. They are looking for detail oriented, self motivated, hard working individuals who will be able to work in a fast paced environment. There is opportunity for growth in each division that this role requires you to interact with.<br />

  Review the ACCOUNTING for several funds<br />
<br />
  Manage three professionals, providing guidance on advanced ACCOUNTING issues<br />
<br />
  Review quarterly 10Q and 10K filings, K-1 filings and SEC documentation<br />
<br />
Additional ad hoc projects<br />
<br />
Who we are looking for   :<br />
<br />
  Must be a team player with strong computer and communication skills<br />
<br />
  Strong Microsoft Excel skills and prior experience with Great Plains a plus but not required.<br />
<br />
  Strong understanding of US GAAP as well as detailed understanding of SEC filings.<br />
<br />
  4 year ACCOUNTING degree required<br />
<br />
  CPA is a plus<br />
